Bible Story Mystery Bag
Story- Creation you will need 7 paper bags or gift bags, put one item in each bag and
number:
1. flashlight/ God created light
2. bottle of water/ sky and sea
3. dirt/ land, trees and plants
4. glow in the dark stars/ day and night
5. feathers and gummi fish/birds and fish
6. stuffed animal and a doll/animals and man
7. small pillow or blanket/ God rested
Tell the children you went on a great shopping spree at the “Creation Store” and bought
all these items, but you aren’t going to tell them what you bought, they will have to guess.
The children feel in the bags and try to guess what each item is. Read the verses for the
day as they guess each item.
This game could be changed for almost any story. Pick out key items in the story to
illustrate with small props.
